Paul J. Girard

Paul is a recognized leader known for his ability to transform IMIT organizations into highly effective and efficient delivery partners. As Executive Director and CIO at Treasury Board, Paul has built a highly responsive IT IM organization that consistently delivers results by ensuring the strategies of his organization align with those of business. Paul is known for challenging the norm and constantly looking to improve the operations and delivery components of any organization he leads.

Prior to joining Treasury Board, Paul was the CIO at General Dynamics Canada, the largest Defence contractor in Canada where he led a large IT organization. His major contributions included the implementation of the Oracle eBusiness Suite that drastically improved the integrated business processes of the organization. Paul's career also included 19 years at Nortel Networks where he was the Director of the eSelling organization, his major accomplishment was taking the majority of Nortel products and putting them on the web to allow customers to configure, price and order complex networking gear. Paul has a proven track record that takes any organization and reinvents it into a high performing customer focused delivery business.

Gary Cameron, P. Eng

Gary Cameron is Vice President - Networking and Security Solutions within the Business Markets division of Bell Canada. Bell Business Markets provides information and technology communications solutions to Canada's largest public and private sector organizations. In this role, Gary leads all aspects of a business comprised of 500 solution specialists, consultants and technical experts focused on designing and delivering complex solutions for our customers. Gary has been with Bell Canada and the BCE family for 26 years, working in increasingly senior positions in Sales, Marketing, Technology and Provisioning. Gary previously held the position of Vice President - Professional Services from 2007 to 2010, and President - Bell Security Solutions Inc (BSSI) in 2005-2006.

Gary held the position of VP - Sales from 1997 to 2005, with responsibility for managing all aspects of Bell's relationship with 300 major accounts and $1 Billion per year of business. Key accounts included the Government of Canada, Government of Ontario, as well as large Municipalities, Universities, School Boards and Hospitals.

Gary is Bell Canada's executive sponsor for Ottawa, and is actively involved in many community and charitable organizations in the Ottawa area, including the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), Muscular Dystrophy and Citizen's Advocacy.

Gary earned his degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (APEO). He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Ottawa Senators Foundation and Bell Capital Markets Solutions, and has served on the Boards for Expertech Network Installation, BSSI, BCE Elix, Createch and the Ottawa Center for Research and Innovation (OCRI).
Gary resides in Ottawa with his wife Cindy and their children Sarah and Adam. His recreational interests include golf and skiing, and he is a passionate fan of the Ottawa Senators hockey team.
